Book Brats 1 Year Blogoversary Giveaways
It’s hard for me to believe that on June 30th, 2011, I posted my first review. Since then, my life outside the internet has remained dull, boring, and slightly depressing, but inside, I have met some of the best people, read some amazing books, and found a lot of drama. But that’s okay, because 1 and 2 overrule point 3.
Or does it?

But thanks to the support of my readers, my friends, and occasionally my enemies (which I hope I don’t actually have, but you never know), Book Brats has lived about 11 months longer than I expected. Eleven months and 29 days to be exact. I had no clue what I was doing on day one, driven by my love of books and new found discovery of the world of book blogs. So many of the sites I initially started out with are gone, and others are like 20 times bigger than mine.
To readers like you, thank you. Thanks so much to the publishers who have taken a chance on a kid like me, and to the authors who have been so gracious with my awkward interviews and general creepiness.
So, you know the deal. Generally when blogs have blogoversaries, they have giveaways. Don’t worry, I am definitely jumping in on this bandwagon! But thanks to everyone who has made this possible, most especially my savior and friend, River, who came in when I needed help and an official cheerleader to keep up the momentum towards greatness.
Yay!
But anyway, I bet you are wanting a giveaway, and I promise that tomorrow instead of You’ve Got Mail that I am going to recap some of my favorite moments (nope, no books this week – probably as payback for those 13 I got last week).
I have THREE giveaways! One is international for your chance to win one of two swag packs with lots of signed goodies, one is a YA finished copies pack for the US only, and the last is an adult ARC pack for US only once more. You must be 13 or older to enter, cheaters will be smacked, you have 48 hours to reply after notification, and yadda yadda. You know the rules.
Big thanks to the people who donated swag for this event and the publishers who supplied the books – Harper Teen, Tor Teen, Voice, and Henry Holt.
Thank for for your support and good luck!

I love the blog. The only thing I would change, and I don’t know if you can do that using this format, but on the archives have the arrow so the reader can see the old posts without having to endlessly scroll.
Thanks Lisa! I am actually having my web designer see if she can figure out that issue now. Thanks for pointing it out.
